- Veteran Affairs Canada – Canada Benefits outlines programs and funding available to veterans.
- Government of Alberta – Senior’s Health – The Government of Alberta provides a number of programs and services to support seniors in Alberta. This information is also helpful for caregivers and those Albertans who will be needing these services in the near future.
- Alberta Health Services – AHS provides quick links to information and public programs available to you in your individual community.
- Alberta Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) – The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) provides decision-making mechanisms for individuals who are unable to make personal, non-financial decisions for themselves. The OPG does this through the Personal Directives Act, the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Act and the Mental Health Act. The OPG also administers the Personal Directives Registry and the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Registry.
